The Manor Arms Inn
Abberley Village, Worcester, Worcestershire
This three centuries old beamed pub was once owned by the local Lord of the Manor. It exhibits ghostly manifestations including a woman of that family known by locals as the Grey Lady. She died in mysterious circumstances and now appears both inside the inn and in the frontage. People have described the Grey Lady as tall and wearing what appears to be a long grey dress. However, she has a blurred face. It is further haunted by infrequent appearances of two soldiers in very old-fashioned military clothing of green and white. In 1405, Abberley Hall was at the centre of a battle between Henry 4th and Owain Glyndyr. It may be these ghosts are archers from that incident.
