The Half Moon
Cuxham, Watlington, Oxfordshire
In a lovely little Oxfordshire town, the Half Moon is an untainted, velvety white thatched inn inverse an old running rivulet. There are stories that the pub shows spooky indications. These incorporate a trooper from the English Civil War, who terminated at the adjacent Battle of Chalgrove. From portrayals of the individuals who have seen this appearance, the phantom has all the earmarks of being a Parliamentarian fighter. He is wearing an overwhelming cowhide jerkin and protective cap. In June 2005, an exquisite yield ring showed up at Cuxham. One source asserted that sun based upheaval from the Comet Holmes had brought about it.
