The White Hart
Old Romsey Road, Cadnam, Southampton, Hampshire
The White Hart was a resting place en route to London for drovers taking their herds of sheep, cattle and other livestock to the markets. Elegance is the only description for the phantom here. There have been the sounds of the swish of silk as someone, or something, goes through a room, with leaves behind a hint of subtle perfume. On several occasions at the White Hart, an antique clock has stopped as the ghost of another female ghost glides past it. Perhaps that clock had some significance to her when she was alive. It restarts several seconds after her phantom has passed.
