White Rabbit
Sandling Rd, Maidstone
With a name like this, it can only be haunted by a little girl in a Victorian style white frock. witnesses see her, walking along corridors and in one of the bedrooms. Instead of calling for the White Rabbit or Mad Hatter, her ghost is calling out for her cat. Whenever Witnesses see her or heard there is a banging bedroom door, lights turn on and off in the bar and menu chalkboards move around. Built in 1797, as a reaction to the threat of Napoleon, the White Rabbit occupies what used to be the officers’ quarters of the Invicta Barracks.
