The Pointer Inn

Sometimes, things are not quite, what they seem to be! This six centuries old pub, called the Pointer, has an inn sign showing the hunting dog in action. In fact, Its name was after Mr Pointer, a proprietor of many years ago. Over its long history, it has gathered a number of ghosts and poltergeists. All who have seen the most frequent ghost report she is a benign creature, with of a merry disposition. Sobservers describe him as wearing 18th century clothing, with manifests through the back door as though she owns the place. Other ghosts haunting the Pointer are more usually described as black figures or of the poltergeist type.
