Eden Arms Hotel
The Eden Arms Hotel is located on the road between Darlington and Durham in a village whose name is means “a water crossing where rushes grow”. This attractive 17th century hostelry has a plethora of ghosts. In one room, a Grey Lady has taken up permanent residence. Witnesses described her as a small woman who looks up when spoken to and then disappears. When she appears there is a sudden and dramatic drop in temperature. Several employees have seen a group of ghostly children walking along a corridor only to suddenly disappear.
