The Six Bells
High Street, Brentford, Ruislip, Middlesex, Greater London
The original Six Bells has history over three centuries and now present s as an early Victorian pub in the curiously named Ducks Road. In the past, it has served as magistrates’ court and local mortuary. It exhibits ghostly manifestations. these include a man who had been an attendant at that mortuary. When he manifests, he is wearing a black suit, with an apron over his trousers and a black hat. The village name in Old English is outstanding, Rislepe, a leaping place across a river where the rushes grow.
