Olde Royal Oak
Valley Ln, Lutterworth, Leicestershire, Bitteswell
While a couple were having a meal at this early 19th century pub, they suddenly felt very chilled. This passed, with the daughter took a digital photograph of her mother. However, when she looked at the image, there was a pair of ghostly eyes staring back at her. The couple spoke to staff about curious incident. They were told that there was certainly a ‘presence’ in the building. Many had previously sensed this peculiar existence. However, nothing had been observed or reported. They were told that the other village pub, the Man at Arms, was also haunted. However, they had little information.
